We are pleased to announce the launch of our gourmet cooking classes at the Morris Center for Enhancing Abilities.
Classes will be provided after program hours in small groups. Each session will be 3 hrs. including dinner. Funding is available with the DDD budget through Goods and Services.

Centers for Enhancing Abilities provide individuals with a variety of opportunities and experiences in a group settings that will enrich their lives and prepare them for real life situations and employment. Activities and environments are designed using a person centered approach to foster the development of adaptive skills, positive social behavior, interpersonal competence, greater independence, and ability to make personal choices.
Classes offered are focused on personal growth, wellness and enrichment. A broad variety of classes are offered for all interests and skills levels. See our list below for class offerings.

employment readiness and soft skills. Computer skills, interview skills, problem solving, social interactions, communication skills, and time management are among the concentrations offered.
Classes offered are focused on career path exploration and include resume building, identifying work interests, professionalism in the workplace, leadership and seeking/maintaining employment.

Owner and CEO Neeta Das has over 35 years of experience working in this field providing opportunities to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illness to live meaningful, independent, and integrated lives in the community.
